General Policy 2
Requires development to respect site/surroundings in siting, layout, scale, form, design; not adversely affect townscape character, residential amenity, highway safety, or provide satisfactory access/parking. Officer assessed the proposal complies as it matches existing footprint, enhances derelict site, no overlooking/loss of light, and sufficient separation to neighbours.
Environment Policy 42
New development must reflect local character/identity and avoid inappropriate backland development or removal of green spaces. Proposal takes account of Orry Street and Allan Street built form, judged appropriate despite variety in terrace styles.
Environment Policy 43

ObjectionWe wish to lodge our objection unless certain questions can be answered and assurances made; Can you reassure us that care will be taken to ensure the least possible amount of disruption to existing residents?; Once again knocking the houses down and rebuilding them, leaving a space for cars would seem the ideal solution
