ObjectionPerhaps more importantly, I am reliably informed that this is the former home of the painter WILLIAM HOGGATT [1878-195?]* and where he had his STUDIO. The cottage was considered for Listing and also for a Blue Plaque. It is reputed to be the second oldest building in Port Erin.; Perhaps some further though should be given to the alterations in this context?
