Time limit for reserved matters
This approval is in principle only and will remain valid for a period of two years within which time no development may take place until such time as details of the reserved matters (siting, design, external appearance, internal layout, means of access, landscaping) have been approved by the Planning Authority. Such reserved matters should form the subject of a single application.
Agricultural occupancy restriction
The occupation of the proposed dwelling(s) must be limited to persons whose employment or latest employment is or was employed in agriculture in the Island and including also the dependants of such persons as aforesaid.
Location per drawings
This permission relates to the principle of the erection of two agricultural dwellings in the location shown in drawings 843-01 and -02 both received on 31st October 2005.
Design and siting requirements
Each dwelling must be different in appearance to the other and sited and accessed from the Orrisdale road as shown in the approved drawings. Both dwellings must be designed in accordance with policies 2-7 inclusive of Planning Circular 3/91 - Guide to the Design of New Residential Development in the Countryside.
Access and parking
The application for reserved matters must demonstrate that both of the new dwellings have a safe means of access onto the Orrisdale Road and afford parking and turning space for at least two vehicles. The access should provide visibility splays of 2.4m by 120m.
