ObjectionThe alterations must be 'sympathetic' to the building's Registered status.; We start with the premise that wherever possible, original / existing fabric should be retained and refurbished.; I consider none of the aforementioned points insurmountable and that with some work, this will result in a better scheme.
Conditions requested: wherever possible, original / existing fabric should be retained and refurbished, in particular, items such as windows, doors, rainwater goods, roofs etc.; existing cast iron [rainwater goods] should be refurbished or replaced to identically match the existing; finish to the woodwork of the doors and windows (they should be painted timber matching the existing colour); all sections of existing slated roofs are retained; existing rooflights should be retained and refurbished. If this proves impractical, new cast iron roof lights should be installed that are identical to the existing units
