Environment Policy 35
Policy requires that within Conservation Areas, only development preserving or enhancing character/appearance is permitted, protecting special features from inappropriate development. Officer assessed the roof lights and sun tunnel against this, noting initial concerns over positioning too close to ridge but concluding low visibility from public realm and no harm to character or amenity made it compliant.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
