General Policy 2
GP2 allows development in accordance with mixed use zoning subject to criteria including respecting surroundings in siting/layout/scale/design (b), not adversely affecting townscape character (c), providing satisfactory amenity/access/parking (h), no unacceptable road safety impact (i), no prejudice to adjoining land (k), and safety/security (m). Requires development adjacent to conservation areas to be sympathetic to important views into/out of them. Site adjoins Athol Street/Victoria Street and North Quay Conservation Areas; new screening wall ensures equipment not visible, preserving views and townscape.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

This approval relates to the submitted Drawing Nos. GA-P-0001A, GA-P-0100, GA-P-0101A, GA-P-0102A, received on 19th January 2010 and 17th May 2010.
Boundary wall prior to installation
Prior to the installation of the coolers and generators approved by this permission, the new boundary wall shall have been erected in accordance with the drawings provided. The specification of the brick type and colour shall be agreed in writing with the Planning Authority prior to the construction of the wall.
