no objection
The Victorian Society objects to the replacement of the original door and frame at 2 Hilary Road, Douglas, while accepting the window replacement proposal.
Key concern: replacement of original door and frame
Victorian Society
ObjectionWe do object however to the replacement of the door and frame. These are an integral part of the original house design and there is nothing in the application to indicate that they need to be replaced let alone repaired.; The Planning Committee have in the past refused door and frame replacements yet approving window replacement in a property at the same time. We would ask that the same policy apply in this case.
