no objection to the proposal
Society for the Preservation of the Manx Countryside and Environment (SPMC&E) objects to the uPVC window installation at 3 West Quay due to unsympathetic design on a former warehouse building, while Ramsey Town Commissioners have no objection.
Key concern: proposed uPVC windows un-sympathetic to ex-warehouse building, particularly on Harbour frontage
Society for the Preservation of the Manx Countryside and Environment
ObjectionThe Society OBJECTS to the present scheme.; Those to be used on the Post Office Lane frontage, in being plain, single-pane types, might just be acceptable but those on the Harbour frontage need a more appropriate design.; Other warehouse and ex-warehouse building in Ramsey can offer examples which could be followed and we are not convinced that sliding sashes would be inappropriate.
