Reasons For Refusal:
- The development of this site would be contrary to the adopted land use designation of the site and the Department’s general presumption against development in the Island’s countryside - as set out in Planning Circular 1/88. Approval of development of this site would establish an unfortunate precedent for further unwarranted and uncontrolled development in the countryside.
- This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.

- any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
