Approved plans
This approval relates to the extension of the existing driveway and the erection of a general purpose building for storage of private motor vehicles and garden equipment all associated with "Ballaconneyn" (formerly "The Warren"), as shown in the drawings received on 18th April, 2005.

Department of Transport Highways Division has no objection to the proposed erection of a general purpose storage building subject to a condition ensuring sight lines from the existing access comply with DoT Highway Standards. They confirmed that required visibility splays of 2.4 x 33 metres can be achieved by reducing the turf hedge height to 1.05 metres.

Conditional No ObjectionNo adverse traffic impact subject to imposition of the following condition(s):; Visibility is achievable along Clannagh Road from the existing access.; The visibility splay required is 2.4 X 33 metres and this can be facilitated by reducing the height of the turf hedge to the right of the access to a maximum of 1.05 metres.; The reduction in visibility standard is permitted because the road alignment reduces vehicle speed at this location
Conditions requested: Sight lines from the existing vehicular access onto the adopted public highway shall be provided in compliance with DoT Highway Standards.
