Approved drawings
This approval relates to the erection of decking as shown in the drawings received on 1st September 2004.
Screened balustrading
The balustrading must provide a continuous screen around the decking so that those sitting within the deck area cannot see through it to the properties below and beyond.
Landscaping scheme
Within three months of this notice becoming final the applicant must submit a landscaping scheme which will have the effect of softening the vertical emphasis of the structure and infilling the space beneath it.
Landscaping implementation and maintenance
All planting, seeding or turfing comprised in the approved details of landscaping must be carried out in the first planting and seeding seasons following the completion of the development or the occupation of the dwellings, whichever is the sooner. Any trees or plants which within a period of five years from the completion of the development die, are removed, or become seriously damaged or diseased must be replaced in the next planting season with others of a similar size and species.

ObjectionWe feel that the construction of decking that is elevated and is in direct vision with the bathroom and bedroom windows at the back of the house poses an issue regarding privacy.; The level of noise also carries directly into the bedroom as there is no form of screening possible.; We will pass your letter on to the owner of 6 Croit-E-Quill Close and leave any further communications on the matter to him.
