Time limit

All new or replacement roofing must be in dark grey natural slate.
Window materials
All new or replacement windows must be wooden-framed sliding-sashes.
Signage
No external signage may be erected or displayed without the prior written approval of the Planning Committee under the Adverts Bye-Laws.
Shop/bar fronts
The detailed treatment of the shop/bar - fronts must form the subject of a separate planning application.
External walling
All external walling must be finished to match the existing adjoining walling.
Lift construction
The construction of the lift, and in particular the lift pit, must be undertaken so as not to disturb the fabric of the vaulted basement.
Staircase retention
The staircase within the Douglas Hotel must be retained and repaired as required.
