Approved plans
The planning permission relates to the continued deposit of inert waste material in accordance with the profile and phasing shown in drawings SEK-02C,TS-02A, TS-OOA, DC~03, plan showing location of cross sections, the Planning Statement, and the Environmental Impact Assessment Summary all received on 7th August, 2013.
Time limit for deposit/restoration
The importation of material and the depositing of waste shall cease on or before 31 July 2018, and the restoration of the site shall be completed by 31 December 2018.
Material source restriction
Only waste material generated from the neighbouring DC Skips transfer station may be deposited on the site.
Restoration scheme
The landfill site will be restored in accordance with the levels shown on the Proposed Final Contours drawing DC-03, paragraph 1.2 (b), 1.3 of the Planning Statement and the Methodology Statement for the Restoration of land at DCSkips by the Manx Wildlife Trust dated 25th June 2013. If, at a period of 4 years from the date of this permission, it appears that the final levels cannot be reached, a revised scheme of restoration shall be submitted to and be approved by the Planning Authority.
Annual site surveys
Within 12 months of the date of the approval of the permission and at intervals of 12 months thereafter until the completion of infilling • a full survey of the site shall be undertaken including site cross sections, volumes of material and the results submitted to the Planning Authority.
Quarantine non-inert waste
Any non-inert wastes identified following on~sitescreening shall be held in a quarantine area for removal and management off-site.
No burning
No burning shall take place on the site.
Hours of working
The working hours of operation are restricted to 0800 to 1700 Monday to Friday, and 0800 to 1300 Saturday. No working shall take place on Sundays or Bank or Public Holidays.
No lighting
No artificial light is permitted on site unless an application for that purpose is submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority.
Watercourse filters
The fiiters identified in the Environmental Impact Assessment Summary "Impact on Watercourse' section must be installed within one month of the date of this approval and be maintained and cleaned weekly to prevent possible contamination to the watercourse.
Site clearance after 5 years
On the expiry of 5 years from the date of this planning approval all piant, machinery, equipment and stockpiles of materials shall be removed from the site.
No extraneous storage
No skips or other materials not connected with the use hereby approved, may be stored on site.
Site security
The perimeter of the site shall be secured to prevent unauthorised access in accordance with details to be submitted to and approved by the Planning Authority and shall be retained thereafter.
Dust suppression
A water bowser shall be made available for use to suppress dust as necessary, and/or as may be required by the Planning Authority.
No extraneous vehicles/buildings
No caravans, portable buildings or vehicles not associated with the use of the site hereby permitted shall be stored on the site for any purpose.
