Requires development to respect site/surroundings in scale/form/design, not adversely affect townscape character or amenity. Sign judged in keeping with the building's existing style, materials and lighting levels.
Strategic Policy 4
Requires protection/enhancement of conservation areas. Proposal preserves character of Douglas Promenades Conservation Area and surrounding townscape.
