General Policy 6
General Policy 6 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 permits external advertisements in towns and villages if they are high standard of design and materials relating well to the building/site, in keeping with and not detracting from the surrounding area, and not causing highway safety hazards. The officer tested the Tesco signage against these exact criteria, finding it met all three due to its standard corporate quality, site relationship, lack of visual detraction, and no safety issues.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of years from the date of this notice.
