General Policy 2
General Policy 2 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 permits development in accordance with land-use zoning and other policies provided it respects site/surroundings, does not harm amenity, highway safety, traffic flows, or character, and meets criteria on access, parking, servicing, wildlife, views, and energy use. The officer assessed the proposal as compliant given its location in retail warehousing zoning (Douglas Local Plan), relation to store operations, and lack of adverse impacts on amenity or highways despite net parking loss of two spaces.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
