DEFA Ecosystem Policy Officer confirms satisfaction with updated documents for condition discharge but raises a minor concern about bird entanglement from site netting, recommending mitigation via an ECoW.
Key concern: potential for the unintentional entanglement of birds from site netting
DEFA Ecosystem Policy Officer
Conditional No ObjectionI can confirm that I'm happy with the updated documents now.; One additional slight concern I have which I didn’t note previously, is the proposal for netting around the site, and the potential for the unintentional entanglement of birds.; I'm content for that to remain in on the basis that there will be an ECoW who will advise accordingly on this to ensure that any netting is positioned and maintained to avoid entanglement and monitored regularly.
Conditions requested: ECoW who will advise accordingly on this to ensure that any netting is positioned and maintained to avoid entanglement and monitored regularly
