General Policy 6
Requires advertisements in towns/villages to be high standard design/materials relating well to the building/site, in keeping with surroundings without detracting, and not causing highway hazards. The officer assessed the sign's design, non-illuminated finish, and size as appropriate to the plain rendered gable and visible streetscene fronting a car park and pedestrian thoroughfare, with no visual detriment or safety issues.
General Policy 7
