Appeal Ref: AP25/0048: Planning Application 23/00924/B Demolition of existing buildings and erection of 10no. General industrial units, parking and hard standing areas, with associated drainage and planting scheme Former Crosby Wholesalers, Main Road, Crosby, IM4 4BN Applicant – Mr Benjamin Quayle
The Commissioners considered the appeal lodged relating to the above Planning Application at their meeting held on Wednesday 21 January 2026. The Commissioners have no new comments to make but would like to re-state their position in which they resolved to OBJECT to the application on the following grounds:
- • They still have concerns regarding the access onto and off the busy main road from the increase in traffic that would result from the proposed industrial units on the site, as mentioned in their letters of 16 October 2025 and 21 August 2025
- • The objections in their letter of 25 May 2025 still stand
- • The objections in their letter of 21 September 2023 still stand
