Initially refused on 6 November 2003, but approved on review by Planning Committee on 5 January 2004 subject to conditions.

The proposal was for a glazed enclosure around an existing external staircase, plus fencing and landscaping of the garden area at a block of flats in Union Mills, Braddan. The application was approved by the Director of Planning using delegated powers.
