General Policy 2
General Policy 2 permits development in accordance with land-use zoning and Area Plan if it respects the site and surroundings in terms of siting, layout, scale, form, design, does not adversely affect the character of the locality or public amenities, and provides satisfactory amenity standards. The officer assessed the minor alterations as screened from public views with design, scale, form, and finish in keeping with the existing property, having little or no impact on visual amenities. This compliance tipped the balance in favour of approval.
Time limit
The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice. Reason: To comply with Article 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
