The following on 27 May 2022 list have some potential impact, but after being assessed in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking these were found to have no significant negative impact upon the highway network. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications; although some will require licences to use the highway etc. for their proposed works as indicated:
· 22/00514/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The existing parking spaces are smaller than recommended, currently, with less amenity space available. · 22/00574/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant should consider installing bicycle parking and electric vehicle charging points to at least 10% of the total amount of spaces and ducting to the remainder to aid net zero objectives. · 22/00577/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00578/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant should consider installing bicycle parking and electric vehicle charging points to aid net zero objectives. · 22/00584/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00588/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. Instead, it may be used for storage of bicycles and other items with an adequately sized driveway for shared pedestrian and vehicle use and parking of two cars side by side. The proposed access exit visibility splays are to be maximised and suitable for low flow speed environment.
