Policy 7 of Planning Circular 1/98 (The Alteration and Replacement of Windows)
Policy 7 applies to replacement of windows in pre-1921 buildings outside Conservation Areas or Registered Buildings. For principal elevations visible from public thoroughfares, replacements must match original method of opening, glazing bars, and frame sections if originals cannot be repaired. Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
