Housing Policy 15
Housing Policy 15 states that extensions or alterations to traditionally styled properties in the countryside will normally only be approved where they respect the proportion, form and appearance of the existing property, and only exceptionally where they exceed 50% of existing floor space. The officer found the proposal sympathetic despite breaching the 50% limit cumulatively, due to its subordinate scale, traditional features, and low visibility from the road owing to site topography and screening.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
