Laxey Village Commissioners, as an interested party, appealed the approval on 17 July 2008, arguing the proposed windows do not match the style of the 3 adjoining properties in Victoria Terrace, and requested written representations procedure. The Department of Local Government and the Environment accepted the appeal on 18 July 2008 (AP08/0121) and notified interested parties. The appellants withdrew the appeal on or before 24/25 July 2008. Consequently, the original permitted decision stands.
