Planning Policy Statement 1/01 - Policy CA/2 (Conservation Areas)
Policy CA/2 and Planning Circular 1/98 emphasise retaining/maintaining the architectural character of the Conservation Area. The uniform replacement style was accepted as an improvement without visible public impact.
