General Policy 6
Requires advertisements in towns/villages to be high standard design/materials relating well to building/site, in keeping with surroundings, and not cause highway hazards. Officer assessed the sign meets all criteria: high standard white-backed GRP on cladding, suits office building in mixed-use area, no visual detriment, no safety issues.

Permits advertisements only on sites/buildings to which they relate. The sign is fixed directly to BCS House for on-site use, fully complying with no off-site elements.
Time limit
The advertisement(s) hereby granted consent shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice. Reason: To avoid the accumulation of unimplemented advertisement consents.
Illumination details
Prior to the illumination of the signage hereby approved, details of the method of illumination shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Department. The signage shall not be illuminated other than in accordance with the approved details. REASON: In the interest of highway safety.
