Ensure the width of the internal doors is no less than 900mm.; Ensure corridors are at least 1500mm wide as a wheelchair needs a turning circle of 1500mm. The corridors should have handrails on both side’s 900mm from the floor.; Ensure there is a disabled toilet available which would need to be 2400mm sq. If there is only room for one toilet make it an accessible unisex toilet, which would suit everyone.
