Conditional No Objectionwe would have to request that the Application, as currently constituted, be refused for the reason of inadequate parking provision.; we are not opposed to the Application in principle provided that the conditions discussed above and in my previous letter of 5th September are imposed in full.
Conditions requested: No light reflective paints should be used; Colours must blend and complement with the landscape (i.e. greens and browns); All lighting is kept to a minimum within the requirements of safety and efficiency; Where lighting is deemed necessary, low-level directional lighting should be used to reduce light spillage; No external up-lighting of any parts of the structure must be allowed; No naked light sources are to be directly visible from a distance; trees and bushes adjacent to the site preserved and maintained; restricting the extent to which cars can be parked on Fort Island Road; main car park at the northern eastern end of the hotel available for users of the golf club in perpetuity; proposed new clubhouse must remain occupied and used as an integral part of the hotel; adequacy of foul sewage disposal system verified to satisfaction of DLGE and/or DAFF
