Officer's Report
It is proposed to construct a single storey mono-pitch roof extension to an existing double garage at Allonsons Nursery, St Johns. The garage is located adjacent to the nursery owners dwelling and directly adjacent to a storage shed associated with the nursery and payment area.
The site is well screened from the road with planting and the building will not impact adversely on eths streetscene. Given the close proximity to the nursery buildings, the use of the building is considered to be acceptable.
The Department of Transport Highways Division advise of no objection and German Parish Commissioners advise of no objection. The Department of Transport Drainage Division advise of no objection subject to condition. The Department of Transport Drainage and Highways Division and German Commissioners are accorded Interested Party Status in accordance with the provisions of Planning Circular 1/06.
The Chief Fire Officer who recommends the installation of domestic smoke detectors is not granted Interested Party Status in this instance.
