This was a prior notification under the Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development) Order 2005 for telecom masts under 15m, limiting consideration to siting and design only.
Laxey and Lonan Area Plan Order 2005 Policy L/TRT/PR/5
Requires no development adversely impacting appearance, character, setting, or amenities of railway facilities or views from Manx Electric Railway. Officer found proposal breached this due to incongruous vertical element visible from track despite fencing and colouring. Chairman disagreed, finding it not particularly noticeable.
