To: Ian McCauley, Director of Planning and Building Control From: Ian Brooks, Planning Officer 23rd July 2007 ## Compliance with Conditions – 06/00214/B – Amendments to previously approved two storey industrial unit, South Quay Industrial Estate, Douglas To consider the submission of details in accordance with Conditions 6 of Planning Permission 06/00214 dated 28th April 2006th. Condition 6 stated: "Samples of the external cladding must be submitted to and approved by the Department prior to any use thereof." The applicants have submitted a sample with a covering letter. I consider the sample to be acceptable and would not cause any significant harm to the visual amenities of the locality. I therefore recommend that condition 6 should be discharged.
