Underground Car Park, Royal Bank House, 2, Victoria Street, Douglas, Isle Of Man, IM1 2ln
The proposal involves installing 10 illuminated signs of varying sizes (ranging from 250x625mm to 5400x700mm) on the exterior of Royal Bank House, a four-storey office building on a corner plot in Douglas. The new signs in corporate blue and white colours replace existing less prominent silver/grey illuminated signs.

The proposed signage replaces existing illuminated signs on the building, making it an like-for-like replacement in terms of location and function.
Douglas Local Plan Order 1998
The site is zoned as predominately office use, appropriate for commercial signage. The officer assessed the proposal against visual impact criteria in Government Circular 1/06, finding the replacement signs acceptable despite colour changes as they would not detrimentally affect the street scene.
