General Policy 2
General Policy 2 requires development to respect the character and amenity of the locality, be appropriate in scale and design, and safeguard visual and residential amenities. The officer assessed the proposal against subsections (b), (c) & (g), finding the total hard surfacing of the front garden and wall removal unduly detrimental to the street scene and property appearance.
