Issues
- In respect of the impact on the locality, the polytunnel would be located in a slight depression within the landscape. This is to protect the structure from high winds. The tunnel is set well back from the public highway. There are no public rights of way in the vicinity of the application site. I do not consider the proposal would adversely affect the character or appearance of the area.
Conclusion
I therefore recommend that permission be granted subject to conditions in the attached schedule.
