In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mr & Mrs I Moreton Proposal: Block up existing vehicular access with a sod hedge, enlarge and improve remaining vehicular access, extend existing drive and create parking / turning area at: Hillcrest Douglas Road Kirk Michael Isle Of Man IM6 1AU
which was considered on 20 January 2006, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This permission relates to the creation of a new vehicular access and driveway/parking area as shown on drawing numbers 5240/2 Rev A and 5240/3/B date stamped 25th November 2005.
- The new vehicular means of access shall not be used until the car parking and manoeuvring area have been provided in accordance with the approved plans and those area shall thereafter be kept available at all times for their respective purposes.
- The new sod hedge to permanently close the existing access must be constructed in accordance with the approved plans within one month of the completion of the new driveway and parking area.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development) Order 2005 (or any Order revoking or re-enacting that Order) no extensions, greenhouses, walls, gates, fences, garden sheds, summerhouses, flag poles, decking, garages, or tanks for the storage of oil for domestic heating shall be erected (other than those expressly authorised by this approval.)
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.
Note 2: No works may be commenced until such time as -
- the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
- any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
- the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
- any appeal has been completed.
