Officer's Report
The property is an existing detached house situated at the end of the cul de sac of Ennerdale Avenue, in the new development alongside Lakeside Gardens.
Proposed here is the conversion of the existing integral garage into additional living accommodation and the erection of another attached garage on the other side of the house. There is no adverse visual impact in terms of the appearance of either the new garage or the new window in place of the existing garage doors. The extended property will now come right up to the side boundary which separates the existing housing from that in Lakeside Gardens with a corridor of trees which have been planted in between. Few other properties in the cul de sac could do similar developments as there is insufficient space in the other plots.
