In pursuance of their powers under the above bylaws the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment hereby REFUSES the application made by Clive Rees

Two advertising boards to front elevation at Former Crescent Cinema Central Promenade Douglas

which was considered at a meeting held on 4 November 2004, on the grounds that:

The former Crescent Cinema is a Registered Building standing within The Douglas Promenades Conservation Area; the erection of signage and clutter as now proposed would affect adversely the appearance, interest, and character of the building and the Area.
