In pursuance of their powers under the above bylaws the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment hereby **REFUSES** the application made by **Clive Rees**

**Two advertising boards to front elevation at Former Crescent Cinema Central Promenade Douglas**

which was considered at a meeting held on 4 November 2004, on the grounds that:

The former Crescent Cinema is a Registered Building standing within The Douglas Promenades Conservation Area; the erection of signage and clutter as now proposed would affect adversely the appearance, interest, and character of the building and the Area.
