Key concern: excessive size and incongruous design in area of high landscape value
Arbory Parish Commissioners
ObjectionIt is felt that this proposed development, in terms of size and some aspects of the design, exceeds the spirit of the original concept, the renovation of a small derelict cottage and an old barn in a remote upland area of very high landscape value.; It is particularly felt that some aspects of the design of the link building are out of keeping with the fairly traditional Manx country dwelling appearance of the rest of the front of the development and are incongruous and inappropriate for the site.
