REASONS FOR REFUSAL
Application No. 97/1283
- The external finish of the storage shed is visually unattractive, and not suitable for a building in the countryside.
- The oil tank as located is visually intrusive when viewed from the adjacent highway.
NOTE: This refusal is without prejudice to an application for a suitably finished storage shed, and an oil tank (with satisfactory support structure and bund wall) towards the rear of the yard.
NOTE: This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
