Re: PA 03/1949 - Widening of driveway, 1 Larch Hill Grove, Tromode, Onchan

I am directed to advise you that the above application was considered at the Onchan District Commissioners meeting held on 26th January 2004.

The Commissioners recommend that the application be REFUSED for the following reasons:- "The proposals would result in an excessive amount of hard landscape in front of the building with a resultant unacceptable visual impact to the surroundings through the additional parking and the loss of green space and garden in front of the property. Such objection to be without prejudice to a revised application showing both parking and loss of garden to a lesser degree".
