It is a 3-storey corner property currently with a shop at ground floor level and storage above. ### The Proposal Conversion of upper floors to 4 apartments; creation of 3 shops on the ground floor with basement accommodation. External embellishments and replacement timber sliding sash windows. ### The Planning History PA 02/1961 - Conversion of upper floors to 5 one bed apartments - approved. ### Views/Comments DoT (H) - No objections Peel - Approve EHO - Flat regulations Water - Notes only ### Assessment The layout of the units is an improvement to that previously proposed. There would be two units at first floor level, one at second floor level and one in the attic space. Roof lights would be required for light purposes. I have concerns about the external embellishments in particular the columns and façade treatment above first floor level. Steve Moore shares these concerns and it is recommended that approval is not given for this element.
