Our client Rose Estates Limited owner of No. 8 Finch Road, Douglas wish to carry out a programme of internal and external refurbishment.
The use of the building is offices with associated car parking at the rear.
The building is a registered building, registration No. 95.
The major part of the works externally is:
- Renovation of existing timber windows including fitting glazing bars to more appropriate patterns.
- Repair and renovation of render and decoration.
- Renewal of leadwork as necessary.
- Removal of later addition window to rear and replacement with 2 no. more appropriate pattern to
match.
- Removal of inappropriate window at highest level rear elevation and replacement with matching
timber pattern.
Internally the major part of the works is:
- Formation of two openings at upper ground floor level and first floor (Rooms 5/6 and 7/8).
- Refurbishment of fire doors.
- Repair of surfaces and redecoration.
