I am unable to recommend approval of the current application without the clarification.; We agreed that (subject to corroboration by Building Control) this could be dealt with by temporary removal and re-instatement of the existing floor boarding and the introduction of quilt to the top of the lathing. If fire protection is a consideration, a board such as TAC may be fixed to the cheeks of the joists.; Could we agree on a method that will retain the existing floorboards, ceilings beneath and level the floor?
Conditions requested: Where it is necessary to remove architraves, skirtings, cornices etc. during the works they should either be re-instated or faithfully replicated. Where such details have previously been removed, agreement should be reached on the profile and detail of the replacements.; Where any item of concern is encountered on site during the construction, please confer with us at your earliest possible convenience.
