Conditions requested: The proposed development must be connected to the public foul sewer in a manner acceptable to the Department of Transport Drainage Division and on terms and conditions, which must be agreed with the Division PRIOR to the commencement of any building works. All drainage works must conform to the requirements of the Department of Transport's "Manx Sewers for Adoption" and all necessary inspections/ surveys [including CCTV] are to be carried out at the developer's expense.; There must be NO discharge of surface water (directly or indirectly) from this proposed development to any foul drainage system(s); The proposed surface water discharge to the watercourse must be via a spillway, which must be constructed to Drainage Division specifications.; The use of the proposed units must be restricted to dry industrial processes only. The only discharges, which will be accommodated in the public foul sewer at this time, are domestic (only) sewage from WCs and canteens.; Appropriate measures must be taken by the developer / occupier of the premises to ensure compliance with the legislation.; The necessary permission must be obtained from the landowner for the discharge of surface water into the watercourse (including the construction of the spillway).; Existing foul and surface water drains cross the proposed development site, the applicant is advised to consult with the Division regarding the abandoning of these prior to works commencing on site.
