Dear Sirs,
The Peel Town Commissioners considered the following planning applications at their Board meeting on 3 November 2015 and they do not object to the proposals contained within these applications:
The Commissioners had previously deferred a decision on 15/01109/B: Erection of a 32 unit sheltered housing scheme with associated parking, Westlands, Peel to permit them to attend the open day briefing at Westlands scheduled for 22 October 2015. This application including the amended drawings dated 16 October were reconsidered at the Board meeting on 3 November 2015 and the Commissioners do not object to the proposal contained within this application including the provision for 33 existing parking spaces (presumably owned or controlled by Westlands) to serve the 33 apartments proposed within the development.
It should be noted the Commissioners were unsure whether these car parking spaces belonged to Westlands or form part of the public highway. These spaces are currently used by members of the public including parents of school children attending the QE II School. The Department may wish to seek clarification on this matter.
Should you require any further information ease do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours Faithfully
Derek Sewell Town Clerk Peel Town Commissioners
