Housing Policy 11
HP11 permits conversion of rural buildings to dwellings if structurally sound, of interest, and with modest subordinate extensions that do not adversely affect character; further extensions not usually permitted as they reduce original interest. Officer carefully assessed impact on eastern elevation's simple gable and courtyard wall, finding the proposal subordinate, matching form/materials, and enhancing appearance by replacing rendered wall with stone, thus not reducing character.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
