General Policy 6
GP6 permits external advertisements in towns/villages on related sites/buildings if (a) high standard design/materials relating well to building/site, (b) in keeping and not detracting from surrounding area, (c) not causing highway safety hazard. Officer assessed the signage against these criteria following relocation to southern entrance, judging it accords with GP6 as unobjectionable with no highway opposition.
Standard advertisement maintenance
a) The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice. b) Any advertisements displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Department. c) Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition. d) Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the removal shall be carried out to the reasonable satisfaction of the Department. e) No advertisement is to be displayed without permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission. f) No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to obscure, or hinder the ready interpretation of any traffic sign, railway or tramway signal or aid to navigation by water or air, or so as to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway, tramway, harbour or aerodrome.

This approval relates to the erection of a sign at the southern entrance, St Johns Football Club, Foxdale Road, St Johns as shown by Photograph received 21st December 2008 and Position of Signage received 1st October 2009.
