Rushen Commissioners have considered the following planning applications and their views are:- a) 09/1691. Meadowfield House, Croit-e-Caley, Mr \& Mrs Kite, Surrey. Part of the existing garage extension to be converted into a study/Office with 2 of the garage doors being replaced with PVCu framed double glazed window units.
The Commissioners consider that the windows, as indicated in the plans, are not in keeping with the windows in the main part of the dwelling. They feel that they should be constructed in a similar size and style. It is noted that the conversion of two parts of the triple garage will mean there will be inadequate garage space. This could mean that the owners would want to build another garage. I understand, from speaking to the family of the former owners of the land, that there is a covenant on most of the remainder of the land which precludes any buildings being erected. Also, this large new dwelling is very close to the railway line which the Southern Area Plan indicates should be protected from development. b) 09/1737. Robin Hill Farm, Cronk y Dhooney, Ballakilpheric, Mr \& Mrs MacQuillan. Relocation and extension of existing stables.
No objections. c) 09/1748. Cronk e Dhooney Cottage, Cronk y Dhooney, Ballakilpheric, Mr \& Mrs Burden. New en-suite facilities to existing bedroom - change door to window and make new door.
